React Software DeveloperLocation: Laurel, MDSchedule: Full-Time, Primarily On-SiteTelework: Up to One Day Per WeekClearance Required: TS/SCI with PolygraphSITEC Consulting is seeking a React Software Developer to support the sustainment, modernization, and enhancement of enterprise business applications in a secure mission environment. This role will focus on maintaining and improving a production collaboration and workflow application that supports critical business processes and information exchange.The ideal candidate is a front-end developer with strong React experience, solid JavaScript or TypeScript skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers, testers, product stakeholders, and end users. This is a great opportunity for a developer who enjoys improving user experience, supporting operational systems, and balancing production support with new enhancement development.ResponsibilitiesServe as a React Software Developer supporting a production enterprise application.Develop, test, and implement application enhancements, bug fixes, and usability improvements.Maintain and enhance React-based user interfaces supporting registration, tracking, workflow management, reporting, and business process functions.Troubleshoot application issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.Translate user feedback and business requirements into scalable, maintainable front-end solutions.Integrate front-end components with backend services and APIs.Apply modern front-end development practices using React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and component-based design patterns.Collaborate with systems engineers, developers, testers, and stakeholders to support releases and deployments.Participate in Agile activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and release preparation.Manage priorities independently while balancing operational support and development work.Required QualificationsActive TS/SCI with Polygraph.Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and six years of software development or software engineering experience.Ten years of software development or engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.Experience with JavaScript or CSS frameworks such as React or Bootstrap.Willingness and ability to pivot between front-end frameworks as needed.Working understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.Ability to work core hours of 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.Desired SkillsExperience with GitLab.Experience working in Agile development environments.Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Angular.Experience supporting production applications in secure or enterprise environments.
