Salary:Salary:Per Teacher's Contract

To Start:August 24, 2026 (plus 2 mentoring days prior to start date, 8/19-8/20)

Qualifications: Massachusetts Department of Education Teacher Licensure: Reading, All Levels Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement required Bilingual Preferred

Responsibilities: Provide targeted reading instruction to students performing significantly below grade level Assess student strengths, challenges, and interests to inform instruction and increase engagement Utilize a range of assessment tools; analyze results to guide daily instruction Instruct small group intervention classes Collaborate with staff to develop and implement focused interventions Regularly monitor student progress to promote academic growth Design responsive instruction in collaboration with Special Education and EL staff Implement evidence-based lessons to improve student outcomes in reading Support content area teachers in selecting appropriate reading materials Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student success Align instruction with Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and WIDA standards Maintain communication with families regarding student progress and resources Actively contribute to a positive school culture and climate Demonstrate respect for and commitment to diversity Perform additional duties as assigned by administration
