Students who read have the power to succeed, and we’re on a mission to make sure every student is a strong reader!
Join Reading Corps as a Teacher in Training and you’ll spend your days at a local school helping students improve their skills while simultaneously pursuing your master’s degree in education through the University of Minnesota. With hands-on support and coaching, we’ll prepare you to become a great educator and help kids succeed!
How does it work? Every school day you’ll see pairs of students for 20 minutes of reading practice. You’ll also complete 36 hours of university coursework, field experience, and student teaching over the course of two years.
