Pay: $29.00 – $30.00/hour
Schedule: 5:45am – 4:00pm w/ additional OT, call-ins after hours

Ready to take the next step in your manufacturing leadership career? We’re hiring an experienced Production Shift Supervisor to lead a day-shift production team at an established wood-products manufacturer in Brownsville, OR.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to motivate a team, keep production moving, solve problems, and make safety a priority. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy developing people while improving processes, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• 
  Lead, coach, and develop your production team to meet daily safety, quality, and production goals.
  
• 
  Set clear expectations and keep your shift running safely and efficiently.
  
• 
  Monitor production performance, downtime, quality, and other key shift metrics.
  
• 
  Identify production issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions.
  
• 
  Oversee major production systems including in-feed, dryer, hammer mill, kiln, and pellet mill operations.
  
• 
  Maintain accurate production logs and downtime records.
  
• 
  Monitor quality testing and take corrective action when standards aren’t being met.
  
• 
  Coordinate coverage, delegate responsibilities, and keep operations moving when staffing changes.
  
• 
  Promote strong housekeeping, safety, teamwork, and accountability throughout the shift.
  
• 
  Partner with the Production Manager on continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
  

What You’ll Have

• 
  3–5 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
  
• 
  Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable.
  
• 
  Strong communication and people-management skills.
  
• 
  Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting production processes.
  
• 
  A continuous-improvement mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  
• 
  Ability to prioritize, delegate, and make decisions in a fast-moving environment.
  
• 
  Wood products, lumber, pellet mill, or similar heavy manufacturing experience is a plus.
  
• 
  Ability to stand and walk for much of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
