    Real Estate Acquisitions Associate

    Overview

    This Associate position is a key role within a rapidly growing real estate investment platform focused on generating strong risk-adjusted returns while investing in assets that address critical community needs across the United States. The firm acquires, develops, and manages investments in sectors that provide essential services and infrastructure to underserved and growing populations.

    Position Summary

    The Associate will support the sourcing, evaluation, acquisition, development, and asset management of real estate investments across multiple property sectors. The role offers broad exposure to acquisitions, development, portfolio management, financing, and dispositions, while working closely with senior investment professionals throughout the investment lifecycle.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling and analytical skills, a passion for real estate investing, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain detailed financial models for acquisitions, developments, and portfolio investments.
    • Evaluate investment opportunities through comprehensive analysis of property performance, market dynamics, and capital structures.
    • Conduct financial, operational, legal, and physical due diligence on prospective investments.
    • Analyze demographic, economic, and market trends to identify attractive investment opportunities.
    • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and recommendation materials for senior leadership and investment committees.
    • Assist with transaction execution, including coordination with lenders, brokers, attorneys, consultants, and operating partners.
    • Support asset management initiatives designed to maximize investment performance and portfolio value.
    • Evaluate financing alternatives, refinancing opportunities, and disposition strategies.
    • Monitor operating performance and assist with business plan execution across the portfolio.
    • Conduct property visits, market tours, and meetings with key stakeholders and market participants.
    • Review leases, operating statements, development budgets, and other asset-level documentation.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field with a strong academic record.
    • 2-4 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, investment management, acquisitions, development, or a related field.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex financial modeling and investment analysis.
    • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
    • Experience analyzing acquisitions, developments, and asset management strategies.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong work ethic.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
    • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and intellectual curiosity.
    • Willingness to travel periodically as required
