Job Title: Asset Management Associate

Location: Chicago, IL

Company Overview: We are currently partnered with a vertically integrated generalist real estate investment company with a deep understanding and decades of experience in how to best invest throughout the economic cycle. They are focused on the Northeast and Southeast regions with $5 billion in assets under management (AUM). This opportunity will allow you to oversee the performance of assets directly and help establish the company's growing portfolio while working closely with senior leadership and other branches of the firm.

The Real Estate Asset Management Associate will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with colleagues to further develop strategic asset management plans and assist with the firm's deal flow
• Oversee the financial performance of all assets under management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Prepare and present comprehensive asset performance reports to senior leadership and investors
• Lead asset management initiatives effectively and decisively
• Sustain quality standards at investment site
• Provide analysis on both acquisitions and dispositions
• Maintain a high level of competency and oversight at each asset site
• Assist with transaction management process after acquisition of assets

The Real Estate Asset Management Associate should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 3-6+ years of experience in asset management
• Ability to be a team player and collaborate effectively with other members of the firm
• Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic
