Salary: $220,000 – $295,000/year

Overview
A respected AmLaw 200 law firm with a strong Western U.S. presence is seeking a Mid-Level Real Estate Associate to join its growing commercial real estate practice. The firm is known for handling sophisticated, high-value transactions across energy, natural resources, real estate, and technology sectors, while maintaining a collaborative and mentorship-driven culture.

This role offers meaningful client exposure, hands-on deal responsibility, and the opportunity to work on complex real estate matters from start to finish in a flexible hybrid environment.

What You Will Do

  • Support national and regional clients on complex commercial real estate transactions
  • Advise on land use, acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, leasing, and construction matters
  • Draft and negotiate key transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and related contracts
  • Assist with construction-related agreements such as design-build, construction management, and vendor contracts
  • Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review and zoning analysis
  • Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to support deal execution
  • Provide practical legal and business-oriented advice throughout the transaction lifecycle

What You Will Need

  • 3–6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions
  • Experience drafting and negotiating real estate transactional documents
  • Exposure to construction-related agreements is a plus
  • Experience with due diligence, including title, survey, and zoning review
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active California Bar membership or willingness to apply
