    Real Estate Associate Attorney

    AmLaw 100 Opportunity

    Compensation

    $235,000 – $390,000+

    A nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.

    This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing developers, institutional investors, private equity sponsors, lenders, borrowers, REITs, landlords, and tenants in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.

    Ideal Background

    3–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

    • Experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and financings

    • Experience representing developers, institutional investors, private equity funds, lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, and real estate owners

    • Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, easements, operating agreements, joint venture agreements, and other real estate transaction documents

    • Experience conducting title, survey, zoning, environmental, and other real estate due diligence

    • Experience managing complex real estate closings and coordinating multidisciplinary transaction teams

    • Experience with commercial leasing, construction, or real estate joint ventures is a plus

    • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and client counseling skills

    • Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions while maintaining significant client interaction

    • Excellent academic credentials

    J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

    Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
