Real Estate Associate Attorney – Midlevel
Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 50 firm seeking a Midlevel Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its New York office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 3–5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
Responsibilities
- Handle lender-side real estate financing transactions, including drafting and negotiating loan documents
- Review title commitments, surveys, leases, zoning reports, and opinion letters
- Manage purchase and sale transactions, including due diligence, contract negotiation, and closings
- Draft and negotiate commercial leases on behalf of landlords and tenants
- Collaborate with clients and attorneys on sophisticated real estate transactions
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
- Experience with financing, acquisitions and dispositions, and commercial leasing
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000 annually, depending on experience
