    Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking to hire a Real Estate Attorney licensed to practice law in South Carolina, North Carolina or Georgia. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of three years experience in residential real estate and background in commercial real estate transactions.Attorney to advise clients in real estate transactions involving the purchase, sale, refinance, and HELOC of residential and/or commercial property. Attorney will also have title responsibilities involving the review, analysis, and preparation of a myriad of documents and instruments associated with various real estate transactions. Candidates should be highly motivated, hard-working, and able to work under tight deadlines while possessing a keen attention to detail.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReview title searchesPrepare title certifications and title opinions, and DeedsPrepare Trust instruments, corporate resolutions, Promissory Notes, Mortgages, EasementsReview real estate contractsReview and draft easementsConduct closings for all transaction typesReview the disbursement and recording post-closingMINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's DegreeJuris Doctorate from an accredited Law SchoolSouth Carolina, North Carolina or Georgia Bar License in Good StandingNotary PublicThree years experience in reviewing title, drafting real estate documents, and experience conducting closingsKnowledge and experience with commercial real estate transactionsThe responsibilities for the position will be contract drafting and negotiation with the ability to handle transactions contract to closing, buyer and seller side, including acquisitions, dispositions, property sales, loan document review, bank document review, landlord-tenant law, and commercial leasing.McDonnell & Associates, PA is an equal opportunity employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
