This is a unique opportunity for an experienced real estate attorney to join an established organization handling a high volume of residential and commercial real estate transactions while serving as a key member of the team and the companies growth trajectory. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in real estate law, title review, curative work, and transactional support while providing legal guidance to internal teams, lenders, title professionals, and real estate partners.ResponsibilitiesProvide legal oversight and support for residential and commercial real estate transactions, including approximately 300 transactions per monthReview title commitments, title opinions, title examinations, and title insurance mattersPerform title curative work involving estates, missing heirs, ownership defects, and co-insurance issuesPrepare and review deeds, settlement documents, contracts, and closing-related legal documentationAdvise title operations, lenders, and real estate professionals on legal and compliance mattersSupport complex commercial transactions, including data center development projects and sophisticated title insurance arrangementsEnsure compliance with Texas real estate laws, title insurance regulations, and industry requirementsServe as a legal resource on employment-related and general corporate matters as neededPartner with ownership and leadership on risk management, operational support, and long-term strategic initiativesRequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive Texas Bar license in good standingStrong background in real estate law, title insurance, fee attorney services, or closing transactionsPrior experience with a title company, title plant, underwriting counsel, or real estate law firm strongly preferredDemonstrated expertise in title review, title curative matters, and transactional legal supportFamiliarity with SoftPro, Smart View, or similar title and closing software platformsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume transactional environmentPractical, solution-oriented approach to legal issues and client serviceStrong communication and relationship-building skills while maintaining a highly detailed and focused work styleAbility to work onsite in Fort Worth and manage occasional extended hours during peak transaction periodsCompensation and BenefitsEmployment Type: Direct HireSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMLocation: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite with potential hybrid flexibility for the right candidate)Salary: $125,000 - $200,000+ annually based on experienceMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance401(k)Profit Sharing Program (twice annually)PTO Program with tenure-based increasesBirthday Paid Time OffOne Hour of Weekly Self-Care TimeGrowth opportunitiesThis position offers a rare opportunity to join a growing organization where legal expertise directly impacts business success.
