Job Title: Real Estate Attorney

Location: Fully remote within the U.S. (must reside and work from a state where the firm maintains an office - TX, OR, WA, MA, SC, NC, IL, PA, MO, CA, FL, TN, NY, NJ, Washington DC, or DE); East Coast candidates are preferred

Schedule: Full-Time, 30-40 hours/week

Pay Rate: $85-100/hr.

Employment Type: Contract, estimated to last 3-4 months with the possibility of extension

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a national law firm seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney for a remote contract opportunity. This attorney will support site selection and due diligence projects, with a particular focus on economic development incentives. The engagement is expected to begin as soon as possible and continue through January 2027, with the possibility of an extension based on business needs and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Support real estate site selection projects, including due diligence and risk assessment
• Advise on economic development incentives associated with prospective site locations
• Review and negotiate agreements involving acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, and development
• Evaluate real estate, regulatory, and economic considerations affecting site selection decisions
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, outside counsel, government agencies, and other involved parties
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines involving stakeholders across global time zones

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of substantive real estate experience
• Must reside in and be actively barred in the same state
• Significant experience advising on economic incentives, including incentive packages connected to site selection or development projects
• Strong background in acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, and real estate development
• Experience handling site selection and related due diligence matters
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple time zones
• Strong attention to detail, judgment, and project-management skills
