Real Estate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Real Estate Attorney for its Los Angeles, CA office. The successful candidate will work with clients on landlord-tenant, unlawful detainer, and housing law matters.Duties Assist clients through the unlawful detainer process.Provide legal advice via phone and email consultations.Meet with and motivate staff for efficient office procedures.Conduct independent legal research.Draft legal correspondence, including letters and memos.Review and draft pleadings and other court filings.Assist with court appearances and client presentations.Collaborate with Partners to develop housing law specializations.Requirements J.D. and active California Bar license.General knowledge of civil litigation.Strong client service skills.Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and communication abilities.Education Graduate degree.Certifications Active California Bar license.Skills General overview of landlord-tenant principles preferred.Knowledge of litigation process and California Civil Code preferred.Experience with Lexis/Westlaw preferred.Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Life and disability insurance.401(k) plan.Paid vacation and sick time.#J-18808-Ljbffr
