We are an established law practice built around commercial and industrial real estate, representing developers, investors, and owners on acquisitions, development, leasing, and finance. The work is transactional and steady, driven by client relationships that have run for years and keep a consistent deal pipeline in front of the team. We are adding a Real Estate Attorney who can step into live matters and own them alongside the partners. This is a fully remote seat with a workload built to be sustainable.

Job Details

This attorney handles commercial and industrial real estate transactions from initial documents through closing, working directly with clients and the partners on structure, risk, and timing.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, deeds, and assignments of contracts
• Draft and negotiate commercial and industrial leases, license agreements, easements, and reciprocal access agreements
• Prepare and negotiate LLC operating agreements, joint venture agreements, and confidentiality agreements
• Handle development agreements, construction contracts, and consultant and professional services agreements
• Document real estate finance transactions including loans, promissory notes, deeds of trust, and guaranties
• Review title, prepare escrow instructions, and manage real estate closings through funding
• Advise clients directly on deal terms, risk, and closing strategy across an active transaction load

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of commercial and industrial real estate transactional experience
• Hands on experience with purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint ventures, development agreements, and loan documentation
• Working command of title review, escrow instructions, and closing mechanics
• Fluency in commercial real estate terminology and deal structure, with a practice built on commercial and industrial work instead of residential
• Law firm or in house counsel background, both welcome
• Availability during Pacific business hours; Central time zone candidates considered
• Juris Doctor and active bar admission
• Experience with NetDocuments is a plus
