Must have an active New York Bar license, 4+ years of commercial litigation experience, and 2+ years of commercial landlord-tenant litigation experience.

Job Description
- Represent clients in sophisticated commercial litigation matters involving real estate and capital markets.
- Handle commercial landlord-tenant disputes, including preparation and service of predicate notices and court pleadings.
- Manage commercial foreclosure litigation and develop knowledge of real estate foreclosure practice.
- Take an active role in motion practice, discovery, e-discovery, and courtroom proceedings.
- Research complex legal issues and draft persuasive motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
- Apply proper New York citation formatting and maintain a high standard of legal writing.
- Work independently on assigned matters while collaborating closely with attorneys and legal professionals across the team.
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced practice while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.
Qualifications
- Active New York Bar license.
- 4+ years of directly relevant commercial litigation experience.
- 2+ years of commercial landlord-tenant litigation experience.
- Experience with motion practice, discovery, e-discovery, and courtroom proceedings.
- Experience preparing and serving predicate notices and drafting court pleadings.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Commercial foreclosure litigation experience is preferred; willingness to learn is acceptable.
- Large regional, national, or international law firm experience preferred.
- Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
