A leading real estate investment firm, private equity sponsor, or investment bank may seek a Real Estate Capital Officer to support capital formation, financing execution, and investor-facing initiatives across commercial real estate strategies.

Support capital raising efforts for real estate funds, joint ventures, and individual asset financings
Assist with debt and equity financing transactions, including construction loans, bridge loans, mezzanine debt, and preferred equity
Build and maintain real estate financial models (property-level cash flows, development models, waterfall structures, IRR/NPV analyses)
Prepare investment memoranda, offering materials, and investor presentations
Conduct market research on real estate sectors, capital markets trends, and comparable transactions
Support interactions with lenders, institutional investors, placement agents, and internal investment teams
Assist with due diligence, data room management, and transaction execution workflows
Collaborate with senior professionals across acquisitions, asset management, and investor relations teams
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
Strong interest in real estate capital markets, structured finance, or investment management
Solid financial modeling skills, particularly in real estate underwriting and cash flow analysis
Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or experience in real estate investment, investment banking, private equity, capital markets, or corporate finance is a plus
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with real estate data platforms is beneficial
