    An excellent regional law firm is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various legal areas and possess strong negotiation skills. Seeking a litigation attorney with 5 plus yrs of experience. This attorney will work on commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and Business litigation, among others. Experience in 1 or more of the following practice areas would be ideal: commercial litigation, real estate litigation, insurance defense, product liability, employment law, business litigation.

    The ideal attorney candidate will have the following:

    • Proficient at handling a case from inception to resolution, inclcareer-orienteduding preparation of pleadings, motion practice, taking depositions and trial work, handling mediations
    • Experience in reviewing claims files, communicating with claims professionals, and clients
    • Self-starter; professional
    • Works well both independently and in a collaborative environment
    • Energetic, enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic
    • Stellar research, written and verbal communication skills are key
    • Motivated, ambitious, and career oriented

    Duties:

    - Handle complex litigation cases from inception to resolution
    - Conduct legal research and analysis
    - Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
    - Represent clients in court proceedings
    - Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
    - Provide legal advice and counsel to clients

    Qualifications:

    - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
    - Active license to practice law in the state
    - Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation
    - Strong knowledge of legal administrative procedures
    -- Proficiency in Westlaw research and legal drafting
    - Experience working in a law office setting
