Real Estate Coordinator
Location: Akron, OH
Job Type: Long-Term Contract
We are seeking a Real Estate Coordinator to support our client's land and right-of-way activities in Akron, OH. This position will assist with the review and administration of real estate agreements, easements, permits, property records, and right-of-way documentation supporting utility and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Analyze, prepare, review, and interpret land and right-of-way agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses.
Perform rights and restrictions reviews related to real property and right-of-way activities.
Coordinate and complete permitting requirements as needed.
Research and review real property documents, records, and agreements.
Review and interpret easement agreements and associated property rights.
Support the transfer of information from right-of-way documents into stakeholder management databases.
Perform quality assurance reviews of database entries completed by right-of-way field personnel.
Compile technical and property-related data for presentation to project teams.
Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, environmental consultants, GIS specialists, vegetation management teams, right-of-way managers, and other real estate personnel.
Attend and participate in public open houses and stakeholder meetings as requested.
Provide additional real estate and right-of-way project support as needed.
Manage and track multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
Qualifications
High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; OR
Associate degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; OR
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and task-tracking software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with individuals from diverse technical backgrounds.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and track multiple concurrent project efforts.
Strong client-service mindset and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Experience supporting electric utility facilities, transmission/distribution projects, or railroad projects is preferred but not required.
Experience with Google Earth and familiarity with construction drawings is preferred.
International Right of Way Association (IRWA) designation or related certification is desirable but not required.
Valid driver's license required with the ability to meet company driving requirements.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without current or future sponsorship.
