The AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer will design and implement a omprehensive Real Estate Development Playbook that strengthens Wesley Housing's capacity to identify, evaluate, and advance development projects in Southern and Central Virginia. The VISTA volunteer will develop standardized tools, pipeline tracking systems, and funding strategy frameworks, including LIHTC and alternative capital sources. They will conduct community and market analysis, engage with partners, and pilot Playbook tools on active development projects to refine and improve effectiveness. The VISTA will develop training materials and facilitate internal adoption of these resources and systems, resulting in a stronger, more scalable pipeline of development projects that expand access to stable, affordable housing for individuals and families with low-income.
