$260,000 – $550,000

A premier global law firm is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing institutional lenders, private credit funds, banks, developers, REITs, private equity sponsors, and real estate investors in sophisticated commercial real estate finance transactions.

Ideal Background

3–8 years of commercial real estate finance experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing institutional lenders, banks, private credit funds, borrowers, developers, REITs, private equity sponsors, and real estate investment funds

• Experience handling commercial mortgage loans, acquisition financings, construction financings, mezzanine financings, bridge loans, syndicated financings, and portfolio lending transactions

• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, loan documents, mortgages, deeds of trust, security agreements, guaranties, intercreditor agreements, and other financing documents

• Experience conducting real estate finance due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, organizational, leasing, and collateral review

• Experience with balance sheet lending is preferred, but not required

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated finance transactions while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

DC bar admission required or ability to become admitted
