Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Represent lenders in a variety of real estate finance transactions.
- Structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex real estate and finance transactions
- Conduct thorough due diligence on real estate transactions, including reviewing title and survey, corporate organizational documents, opinions, and leases
- Provide legal advice on real estate finance matters, including regulatory compliance, risk management, and transaction structuring.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure smooth transaction processes.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a licensed attorney in NJ and NY
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate finance law
- Proven experience in representing lenders in a variety of real estate finance transactions.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
