Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 per year

We are a full-service law firm with a growing Washington, DC office and a real estate litigation practice that keeps our attorneys in court week in and week out. Our clients are large landlords and property management companies who send us a steady, high volume of work and rely on us to move their matters quickly and handle them well. The practice is busy, the docket is full, and we need another litigator who wants to be part of it.

What you'll do:

• Appear in court regularly for initial hearings, motion hearings, and bench and jury trials
• Prepare and argue motions
• Draft pleadings, oppositions, discovery responses, and trial documents
• Draft and respond to discovery and document production requests

What we're looking for:

• 4+ years of litigation experience
• Active DC bar license required; Maryland and/or Virginia licensure is a plus
• Strong writing, organization, and oral advocacy skills
• Confidence appearing in court and running hearings on your own. Prior bench trial experience is not required.
