Our client is seeking an experienced Real Estate Legal Secretary to assist attorneys and coordinate residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing. The successful candidate will independently manage transaction workflows, maintain accurate documentation, coordinate effectively with clients and third-party stakeholders involved in real estate closings, and ensure deadlines are consistently met while delivering high-quality administrative and legal support.

Compensation: $60,000+, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Maintain organized electronic and physical client files.
Track critical deadlines and follow up on outstanding items.
Schedule closings, appointments, and maintain attorney calendars.
Assemble and review closing packages to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Draft routine legal correspondence and assist with legal document preparation.
Provide administrative support to attorneys and assist with daily office operations.
Coordinate residential and commercial real estate transactions through the closing process.
Prepare, review, and organize real estate closing documents, contracts, and legal correspondence.
Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, real estate agents, municipal offices, and attorneys.
Obtain and track required transaction documents, including title searches, surveys, payoff statements, and related materials.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a legal office environment.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Experience supporting residential and/or commercial real estate transactions.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong understanding of real estate closing processes and transaction documentation.
High School Diploma or GED required. Additional legal, paralegal, or college coursework is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting attorneys within a real estate law practice.
Familiarity with case management and document management systems.
Prior experience as a Legal Secretary, Real Estate Paralegal, Closing Coordinator, or similar role.
