Real Estate Loan Processor
Location: Scripps Ranch, CA 92131
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $25 - $28/hr DOE
Duration: 3-months, with the possibility to be extended or go permanent based on performance and business needs

The Real Estate Loan Processor assists members with completion of loan applications; processes refinance first mortgage loans and second mortgage loans. Interprets Desktop and Loan Product Advisor findings so that all possible loans can be approved while assuring a proper credit decision can be made. Determines required supporting documentation; analyzes basic income documentation, analyzes credit reports, credit scores; works with title, escrow and PMI companies and maintains communication with members and others involved; reviews loan documents for accuracy; ensures timely submission of loan applications to underwriting and closing. Keeps abreast of investor guidelines. Provides support to Loan Representatives and the Branches Network with file needs assistance, pricing and system issues.
Primary Job Duties:
·Ordering final verification of employment prior to closing.
·Ordering final homeowner's policies for closing.
·Reviewing loan files, title reports, fees etc. to draw home mortgage loan documents.
·Review signed mortgage loan documents for accuracy.
·Package recording instruments for Title and direct when to record.
·Assist with opening up new loan files.
·Organizing documents in a virtual loan file.
·Other assigned duties based on their previous employment history.
Qualifications:
·Associate's degree or equivalent, or 4 years related experience
·2 years mortgage loan file processing experience
·Must be registered with the NMLS
·Basic knowledge of PMI rules and industry regulations
