Real Estate Paralegal - Killington Vermont

We are a growing, dynamic real estate law firm providing comprehensive closing, title, and legal services across multiple states. With a strong reputation for professionalism and service, we are expanding our footprint in Vermont and are looking for a paralegal with real estate experience to join our team.Position Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated paralegal to support our real estate closing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial real estate transactions and a strong understanding of Vermont-specific title, closing, and property laws. This role will involve reviewing titles, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and communicating with clients and stakeholders throughout the transaction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with residential and commercial real estate closings in Vermont
• Draft, review, and approve legal documents related to real estate transactions (deeds, affidavits, settlement statements, titles, etc.)
• Provide legal guidance to staff, lenders, agents, and clients regarding Vermont real estate law and closing procedures
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and professional regulations
• Ensure proper execution and delivery of closing documents
• Participate in business development efforts and support the growth of our Vermont operations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in real estate transactions preferred
• Experience with HUD-1/CD preparation, title review, title clearing, client relations, closing scheduling, and general office tasks
• Strong knowledge of Vermont real estate law, title review, and closing procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to client service and attention to detail
• Experience with Qualia or similar closing software a plus

Location:Killington, VT Job Type: Full-time, On-SiteSalary: $70,000–$90,000 depending on experience
