What Youll Do- Prepare, proofread, and edit commercial real estate and finance documents (leases, purchase agreements, loan documents, easements, closing binders)
- Coordinate and support transaction closings with clients, lenders, title companies, and third parties
- Maintain deal checklists, track milestones, and assist attorneys to ensure timely closings
- Manage attorney calendars, including meetings, deadlines, and closings
- Organize and maintain client files within the document management system
- Handle new business intake, conflict checks, and matter opening/closing
- Enter attorney time and assist with billing, including pre-bill review and edits
- Answer and route calls and respond to client and internal inquiries
- Perform administrative duties including correspondence, expense reports, CLE tracking, and check requests
What Were Looking For- High school diploma required
- Minimum 5+ years of law firm experience supporting commercial real estate and/or real estate finance
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, finance terminology, and closing processes
- Experience drafting transactional documents and coordinating complex closings preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; iManage and Aderant experience a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong client-service mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Professional discretion with confidential information
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
