As a small firm, we take pride in offering personalized and attentive service to each client.  Position Overview:The real estate paralegal will provide comprehensive support to attorneys and clients throughout residential real estate transactions, from contract/ratification through closing. This role is responsible for managing transaction details, deadlines, documentation, and communications while coordinating with clients, agents, lenders, settlement companies, and other parties. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment while ensuring each matter progresses efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities:Supporting attorneys and clients with a variety of residential real estate transactions and related matters.Managing transactions from contract/ratification through closing, ensuring all necessary steps and deadlines are tracked and completed.Reviewing contracts and related documents and identifying important deadlines, contingencies, requirements, and potential issues.Coordinating with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, title/settlement companies, attorneys, and other parties involved in the transaction.Preparing, reviewing, and organizing closing documents and transaction-related correspondence.Tracking earnest money, inspections, title work, financing, contingencies, repairs, payoff information, and other closing requirements.Maintaining accurate and organized transaction files, calendars, checklists, and closing records.Communicating proactively with clients, agents, lenders, settlement companies, attorneys, and internal team members to keep transactions moving forward.Monitoring transaction progress and following up on outstanding items to help ensure timely and successful closings.Identifying and addressing issues that may delay or affect a transaction and escalating matters to the appropriate attorney when necessary.Providing a high level of client service while managing multiple transactions and competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Working independently while keeping the attorney and internal team informed of significant developments, issues, and upcoming deadlines.Helping ensure transactions are handled efficiently, accurately, and with minimal hand-holding. Qualifications and SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients, attorneys, real estate agents, lenders, settlement companies, and other parties.Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information accurately and professionally.Proven ability to manage multiple transactions, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong organizational skills.Transactional real estate paralegal experience required, with residential real estate experience strongly preferred.Strong understanding of residential real estate transactions, including contracts, contingencies, inspections, title, financing, closing requirements, and related documentation.Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to anticipate next steps, follow up on outstanding items, and keep transactions moving forward with minimal supervision.Comfortable using computer systems, case management software, electronic document platforms, and standard office equipment.Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and the internal team.High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree, paralegal certificate, or other relevant education preferred. Benefits:Competitive salary + bonusesPTO (including paid parental leave)11+ paid holidaysEmployer-paid health, dental, and life insuranceRetirement plan with employer contributions
