This role offers a front-row seat to high-profile litigation and a chance to grow within a respected legal organization.Who You Are A commercial real estate paralegal with 7+ years of law firm experience supporting NJ and NY transactionsMust have bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificateDeeply fluent in title and survey analysis across New Jersey and New York, including title insurance policies and endorsements such as ALTA and CLTAComfortable navigating NJ bulk sale requirements as part of complex transactionsExceptionally detail-oriented with a track record of catching issues before they escalateA clear and professional communicator who can translate technical information for attorneys and clientsWhat You'll Do Drive the progression of commercial real estate matters from initial agreement through post-closing deliverablesAnalyze title commitments, surveys, zoning materials, and environmental documentation to identify and address risksDevelop written analyses and correspondence related to title, survey, and objection resolutionPrepare, assemble, and review transaction documents tied to acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financingInterface with title insurers, survey professionals, lenders, and other external parties to clear conditions and secure final policies and endorsementsProduce and review conveyance and loan-related instruments such as deeds, affidavits, UCC filings, and escrow documentationOrchestrate closing logistics in coordination with legal teams, clients, and settlement agentsWhat Success Looks Like Transactions move efficiently with deadlines anticipated and met rather than chasedTitle and survey issues are identified early and resolved cleanly before closingAttorneys and clients receive accurate, well-organized work product they can rely onMultiple deals progress simultaneously without loss of quality or attentionSensitive information is handled with discretion, care, and professionalism at all timesSalary Range: $85,000 – 115,000 annually, based on experienceLocation: Newark, NJ – HybridGainor is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
