Real Estate Paralegal
Location: Beverly Hills, CA
Work Arrangement: On-site
Job Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt
Salary: $120,000–$160,000, depending on experience


Our client, an established law firm in Beverly Hills, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its
transactional Real Estate practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal with a strong background in commercial real
estate transactions, real estate finance, title and survey review, and closings. The Real Estate Paralegal will
work closely with attorneys throughout the lifecycle of sophisticated transactions, including pre-closing,
closing, and post-closing activities.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of real estate and finance experience within a law firm
environment and experience working with a variety of lenders.
Key Responsibilities
• Support attorneys with pre-closing, closing, and post-closing activities for commercial real estate
transactions.
• Proofread, assemble, organize, and manage transactional documents.
• Assist with and coordinate closings for real estate finance and purchase and sale transactions.
• Take a lead role in transactional due diligence projects.
• Review title commitments, title policies, and surveys, identify issues, and coordinate with title
companies regarding policy matters.
• Prepare and maintain due diligence and closing checklists.
• Prepare executive summaries of leases and other real estate documents.
• Prepare UCC financing statements, escrow instructions, closing documents, and closing binders.
• Coordinate appropriate filings with government agencies, including Secretary of State filings.
• Assist with obtaining tax identification numbers and other transaction-related documentation.
• Prepare new matter documentation and engagement materials.
• Format, convert, organize, and maintain transaction documents and correspondence.
• Maintain electronic files using document management systems such as iManage.
• Assist with scheduling, calendaring, expense reimbursements, and other administrative needs related to
the Real Estate practice.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of Real Estate and/or Real Estate Finance experience.
• Experience working with a variety of lenders.
• Strong experience with commercial real estate transactions and closings.
• Hands-on experience reviewing title and survey documents.
• Experience preparing UCC financing statements, closing escrow instructions, closing documents, and
binders.
Technology / Marketing / Accounting / Healthcare
• Experience reviewing title policies and working directly with title companies to resolve policy issues.
• Familiarity with filing documents with applicable state and governmental agencies.
• Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree with a paralegal certificate from an ABA-qualified program.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with legal document management and database systems; iManage experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities
simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced law firm environment.
Who Should Consider This Opportunity?
This position is particularly well suited for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal, Commercial Real Estate
Paralegal, Transactional Paralegal, or Real Estate Finance Paralegal who has substantive experience
supporting sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
Candidates with particularly strong title, survey, due diligence, lender-side finance, and closing experience
should be especially well aligned with the position.

Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range is $120,000–$160,000, depending on experience.
The position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. This is an in-person position. Some after-hours or
weekend overtime may occasionally be required.
