What You Will Do

• Lead and grow a Dallas-based dirt/development real estate practice, focusing on strategic market expansion.
• Originate, manage, and expand client relationships, ensuring alignment with firm revenue expectations.
• Handle complex development, acquisition, disposition, and financing transactions with a focus on delivering results.
• Meet assigned collection goals while operating within a working attorney model, emphasizing personal billable contributions.
• Collaborate across offices to leverage capital markets, finance, restructuring, and corporate capabilities for enhanced client service.
• Contribute strategically to office diversification and long-term market expansion initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 8+ years of experience in real estate law with a demonstrated focus on development, acquisitions, and complex transactions.
• A verifiable portable book of business, ideally exceeding $1.5M, with a history of successful originations and collections.
• Strong market credibility in the Dallas area, with a stable career progression reflecting professional growth.
• Ability to thrive in a collection-based compensation structure, emphasizing meaningful personal contributions.

Preferred

• Experience working within a hybrid office environment, showcasing adaptability and collaboration.
• Familiarity with capital markets and corporate finance, enhancing the ability to serve diverse client needs.
