What You Will Do
- Lead and grow a Dallas-based dirt/development real estate practice, focusing on strategic market expansion.
- Originate, manage, and expand client relationships, ensuring alignment with firm revenue expectations.
- Handle complex development, acquisition, disposition, and financing transactions with a focus on delivering results.
- Meet assigned collection goals while operating within a working attorney model, emphasizing personal billable contributions.
- Collaborate across offices to leverage capital markets, finance, restructuring, and corporate capabilities for enhanced client service.
- Contribute strategically to office diversification and long-term market expansion initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 8+ years of experience in real estate law with a demonstrated focus on development, acquisitions, and complex transactions.
- A verifiable portable book of business, ideally exceeding $1.5M, with a history of successful originations and collections.
- Strong market credibility in the Dallas area, with a stable career progression reflecting professional growth.
- Ability to thrive in a collection-based compensation structure, emphasizing meaningful personal contributions.

Compensation and Benefits
