Real Estate Sales Agent

J. Elkon Realty is seeking a driven, coachable, and growth-oriented Real Estate Sales Agent who is ready to build a thriving business and substantially increase their production.

This role is well suited for someone who enjoys helping people, is committed to consistent prospecting and follow-up, and values the structure, training, systems, and accountability that support long-term success.

You will primarily serve buyers while strengthening the sales, prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-management skills essential to becoming a high-performing agent.

Our team provides the technology, marketing resources, training, coaching, systems, and administrative support you need to focus on the activities that grow your business—including starting conversations, setting appointments, nurturing relationships, serving clients, and closing transactions.

We are looking for an ambitious, professional individual who is self-motivated, competitive with themselves, and prepared to put in the effort required to succeed.

If you want more than a brokerage where you simply park your license—and are serious about building a genuine real estate business—we would like to meet you.

This is a 100% commission-based position. No salary or hourly wage is guaranteed. Compensation is based on individual production and performance.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, open houses, social media, and company lead-generation systems
• Consistently follow up with leads, prospects, past clients, and referral partners
• Convert prospecting and lead-generation activities into appointments
• Conduct buyer consultations and establish clear client goals and search criteria
• Build strong relationships and provide an exceptional client experience
• Identify properties that match clients' needs, goals, and criteria
• Schedule and conduct property showings
• Provide timely and detailed feedback to clients
• Present and negotiate offers on behalf of buyers
• Guide clients through the transaction process from consultation through closing
• Maintain accurate client and prospect information in the CRM
• Execute the company's lead-generation and follow-up systems consistently
• Participate in weekly coaching, training, script practice, and team activities
• Track daily and weekly activities and work toward measurable production goals
• Continuously develop sales, negotiation, communication, and real estate skills

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey real estate salesperson license
• Real estate sales experience preferred
• Strong desire to build a successful real estate career
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and goal-oriented
• Coachable and willing to implement proven systems
• Comfortable prospecting, making outbound calls, networking, and following up
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent listening skills and ability to understand client needs
• Professional, positive, and dependable
• Strong work ethic and personal accountability
• Organized with strong time-management skills
• Willingness to learn and practice scripts and sales dialogues
• Comfortable using CRM and technology
• Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
