    Description

    We are seeking a motivated and skilled Real Estate Salesperson to join our team. If you have 1+ years experience in real estate sales, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong drive to help clients reach their real estate goals, we want to hear from you!

    Responsibilities
    • List and market residential properties: Create compelling property listings, conduct open houses, and promote properties through various channels.
    • Assist buyers: Understand client needs, identify suitable properties, and guide them through the purchasing process.
    • Be the expert: Guide buyers and sellers through the real estate process, answering questions and providing expert advice.
    • Negotiate contracts: Skillfully negotiate offers, counteroffers, and contract terms to achieve favorable outcomes for your clients. 
    • Coordinate showings: Schedule property showings, communicate with potential buyers, and provide property information. 
    • Coordinate inspections: Facilitate property inspections and address any concerns.
    • Stay informed: Keep up to date with market trends, property values, and industry regulations. 
    • Maintain accurate records: Document client interactions, property details and transaction progress to meet real estate compliance standards.
    • Work independently: Manage your own schedule, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.

    This is a non-employment independent contractor opportunity.

    Real estate commissions are paid by our brokerage, Herrington and Company, LLC.


    Requirements

    • Alaska real estate license: Must be licensed to practice real estate in Alaska.
    • 1+ years of experience: Previous experience in residential real estate is preferred.
    • Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and other peers in the industry.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Familiarity with Outlook and Teams.
    • Self-motivated and independent: Capable of working autonomously and achieving self-determined goals.
