Job Description - Real Estate - Support - Administrative Assistant

As an Administrative Assistant in our Real Estate department, you will be responsible for performing clerical and support duties related to the preparation of documents associated with residential and commercial real estate transactions.

  • Open and close files in case management systems
  • Assist processors with the completion of residential and/or commercial real estate transactions
  • Input data, update websites, and perform status inquiries
  • File, image and copy documents as needed
  • Update firms case management software with appropriate information relating to each file
  • Request title search and prepare preliminary and final title opinion for attorney review
  • Any clerical tasks as needed to include making appointments and fielding telephone calls

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks on a high-volume team
  • Willingness/Ability to obtain notary license in state of employment

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical office setting. Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some movement is required. This would require the ability to bend or stand as necessary to greet customers or team members, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
