Real Estate / Transactional Attorney w/ Probate & Estate Planning Experience - Alabama LicensedLocation: Birmingham, ALJob Type: Full-TimeSalary: From $80,000 per yearExperience Level: Mid‑Level (2-6 Years Preferred)We are hiring a Real Estate & Transactional Attorney to join our team and support real estate closing operations and general transactional matters. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, responsive, has a strong work ethic, provides high quality client service / client right mindset, and is experienced in Alabama real estate law and title work. This individual will also assist with other areas of legal practice as required by the firm.ResponsibilitiesConduct and oversee in‑person and remote residential and commercial real estate closingsReview title searchesIdentify and resolve title issues efficientlyDraft and review legal documents including deeds, contracts, affidavits, and settlement statementsAdvise staff, clients, agents, and lenders on Alabama real estate law and closing practicesServe as attorney‑of‑record on transactionsEnsure legal and regulatory compliance across all transactionsAssist with general transactional legal matters as neededSupport business development and firm growth initiatives1900 billable hours required.QualificationsActive Alabama law license in good standing (Required)Reside in the state of Alabama (Required)Law license in good standing in any other state is a plusMinimum 2 years of experience in real estate and/or transactional law preferredStrong understanding of Alabama property and title lawExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environmentProfessional demeanor with strong attention to detailFamiliarity with Qualia or other real estate closing software is a plusWorks well in a small teamActive title insurance license preferredCompensation & BenefitsStarting salary from $80,000 annually (commensurate with experience)401(k) planHealth, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Life insuranceSupportive, collaborative work environmentWork LocationIn‑person in Birmingham, AL.#J-18808-Ljbffr
