Job Description
Location: 3001 Police-Communications
Pay Grade: A08
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for performing a variety of support duties related to the day-to-day operation of the Real Time Information Center (RTIC), including monitoring and research using video, open-source media, sensor technologies and varied software applications and databases, relaying information using multiple communication devices, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience
Requires a bachelors degree in a related field, or completion of 60 hours from an accredited college or university and either two (2) years of related experience or two (2) experience in emergency services, military, security, information technology, cybersecurity, CCTV operations, data analysis, investigations, dispatch and logistics, drone operations, or public safety, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid Class D Oklahoma driver's license.
Physical Requirements
Tasks involve the ability to exert minimal physical effort in sedentary work, typically involving some combination of balancing, feeling, handling, hearing, kneeling, mental acuity, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, talking, visual acuity, walking and which involves some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.

Paid Leave
Procedure: Vacation leave cannot exceed the actual accrued number of hours earned by the employee. Holidays and other non-scheduled workdays shall not be computed in vacation leave expenditure. Each department establishes its own vacation scheduling procedures. Vacation cannot be used as the last day of employment.
