Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday

Are you a mechanically inclined problem-solver with a knack for machine rebuilds? Join our team as a Rebuild Service Technician and play a crucial role in restoring and optimizing machinery that keeps our operations running smoothly. Located in Batavia, IL, this hands-on position offers an exciting opportunity for those eager to develop their skills in a dynamic shop environment.

In this role, you'll collaborate with sales and engineering teams to review rebuild requirements, disassemble and rebuild packaging machines, install tooling and safety features, and run diagnostics to ensure optimal performance. Your attention to detail and technical aptitude will be vital in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret exploded view drawings for parts assembly
• Proficient with basic shop tools such as drills, hammers, screwdrivers, sanders, saws
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues
• Physical ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and lift up to 40 pounds

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in machine or tooling repair and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of wiring and testing electrical components
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or shop setting

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience with machine disassembly, repair, and reassembly is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in a shop environment with physical movement and tooling use
• Rare travel may be required for specialized tasks or training
