Receiver/Kitting Associate

Micro Tech is looking for a Receiver/Kitting Associate/Shipper.  This is a first shift position, working Monday through Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM. 

• Ensure that material is properly identified, labeled, stored, packaged and handled to prevent damage, degradation, contamination and loss
• Prepare and send all shipments, perform count verification against work orders, complete shipping records
• Pull and pack and ship finished goods using proper packaging such as envelopes, boxes, or other containers
• Manage Inventory Control of finished goods and packaged items
• Manage shipping paperwork (including packing slips, shipping labels and certificates of conformance), both domestic and international
• Data input & verification for outbound material shipments
• Contact shipping carriers to arrange and ensure timely pick up for on time delivery
• Use multiple shipping company’s software to ship and track packages
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
• Operate warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilize a variety of hand tools as required
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Weighs, Measures, or Counts items for shipments
• Maintain a clean, efficient work area and assist in keeping the area neat and organized
• Perform different/various manufacturing related tasks as may be assigned
• Quality oriented, organized, with high attention to detail
