Job Summary:A Receiver plays a critical role in ensuring the restaurant's inventory is accurate, organized, and stocked to support daily operations. They are responsible for receiving deliveries, verifying product quality and quantities, maintaining proper storage standards, and working closely with the culinary and management teams to ensure all products meet company and food safety standards.Responsibilities:Receive and inspect all incoming food, beverage, and supply deliveries for quality, accuracy, and freshness.Verify delivered items against purchase orders and invoices, reporting any shortages, overages, or damaged products.Ensure all deliveries meet company quality standards and food safety regulations before acceptance.Assist with the disposal of garbage and recycling.Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies.Remove and dispose of packaging materials, cardboard, and waste in accordance with company recycling and waste management procedures.Report any maintenance or repair needs to the kitchen manager.Qualifications:Previous experience as a reciever or in a similar role is preferred but not required.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy items for extended periods.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
