Title: Receiving Associate
Location: Burlington
Shift: 1st 7am-2:30pm
Pay: $16/hour
Responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipments in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Ensures materials and products are accurately counted, documented, and stored properly while maintaining safety and inventory control procedures. Works closely with shipping, warehouse, and production teams to support daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from delivery trucks.
- Inspect materials and products for damage, accuracy, and quality.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Label, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Enter receiving data into inventory and warehouse management systems.
- Maintain clean and organized receiving and storage areas.
- Report shortages, damaged items, or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment activities.
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.
Requirements:
- Previous receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
- Basic computer and inventory system knowledge preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
