Job Position: Receiving Associate

Location: Lakewood, NJ 08701

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift: 1st

Description: Seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate, where your energy and attention to detail will drive our logistics operations forward!

You'll be responsible for handling incoming shipments of cabinet parts in boxes, hardware, and related materials. The role combines warehouse operations, inventory control, and physical labor.

Duties

Unload trucks and inspect deliveries
Verify shipment quantities
Check cabinets and materials for damage
Label and organize inventory in warehouse locations
Use pallet jacks or forklifts to move products
Maintain inventory accuracy in warehouse systems
Prepare items for storage or transfer
Keep receiving and staging areas clean and safe
Requirements

Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments preferred
Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment preferred, but not necessary
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock management and documentation
Physical ability to lift heavy items (often 50 100 lbs.), stand for extended periods, and operate warehouse machinery safely
