Job Title: Receiving Associate - 21-13672
Company or Role Overview:
Carton Service creates custom paperboard packaging for the food and healthcare industry, with a passion for sustainability. This is a clean, well-lit facility working primarily with machines that are converting paperboard into a printed, cut, folded and glued cartons.
Available Shifts:
1st: 6am-4pm Mon-Thurs (6am-2pm Fri-Sat OT as needed or optional
2nd: 4pm-2am, Mon-Thurs (3pm-11pm Fri-Sat OT as needed or optional)
Pay Rate:
$19 - $21 /hr.
Work Environment:
This is a clean, climate controlled, well-lit facility. This facility is ENTIRELY NON-SMOKING. You cannot smoke or leave the building AT ALL during your ten-hour shift. No piercings, jewelry or nail polish/fake nails or fake eye lashes allowed. Hair and beard nets as well as company provided smock required
-Job Duties:
-Receiver takes finished cartons off a line and packs them into a case.
-Feed machines and keep them running
-Use hand tools to pick excess paperboard off of product before feeding into machines
-Check glued samples
-Make case labels
-Perform quality checks
-Enter record counts into computer
-Un-jam machines as needed
-Crosstrain to assist in a variety of departments and duties
-Shift flexible
Requirements:
-Ability to stand for 10 hours a day
-Lift up to 35 lbs.
-Ability to read and understand written instructions
