Phillips Staffing is hiring a Receiving Clerk for an innovative manufacturer of marine and industrial transmissions in Liberty, SC! Job Summary: The Receiving Clerk is primarily responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, documenting discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality control procedures in a warehouse setting. Responsibilities:
Adheres and follows all safety policies, procedures, and training requirements in the warehouse area and throughout facility.
Comparing and posting purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists
Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria
Receiving and signing for deliveries
Unloading deliveries from truck
Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items
Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas
Updating inventory with received items
Communicating with management personnel and or vendors regarding delays or problems
Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.
Assist with inventory cycle counts
Requirements:
High School Diploma / GED or 3+ Years’ Work experience as acquired in a similar position
Forklift Certified
Must be able to operate warehouse equipment
Must have basic computer skills-email & document scanner
Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment which may include mill cutting liquids and fumes.
Must be able to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time, must be able to bend and lift heavy materials.
Must be able to work in a team environment
Shift Schedule: 1st Shift – Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm (with some required overtime Friday/Saturday)Pay Rate: $17.66/hour#IND3
