Summary/objective
Receiving all deliveries. Accurately record all deliveries into the ERP systems. Assist the Inventory Control Specialist with processing inventory and supporting production.
Essential functions
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow Standard Operational Processes and Inventory Control documentation to perform assigned tasks.
- Receive all deliveries during business hours (8am – 4:30pm).
- Confirm packing slip and part label against PO to confirm the correct part(s) and quantities are received.
- Record the receiving transactions into the MRP system.
- High attention to quality, counting, and detail.
- Process incoming inventory.
a. Confirm quantity as directed.
b. Safety seal or break down into kit size quantities as directed.
c. Move inventory to designated storage location.
- Notify other departments regarding special orders.
- Perform quality inspection and sortation as needed.
- Other tasks as directed by the Inventory Control Specialist.
- Ability to comprehend and follow Standard Operational Processes and instructions.
- High attention to quality, counting, and detail.
- Ability to use inventory counting equipment, weight scales, reel counter, etc.
- Basic use of a computer for work related functions.
