Job Responsibilities:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The receiving clerk works in an office environment as well as a general factory environment. Some of the physical demands of this position include sitting for prolonged periods of time, walking up and down staircases, occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and occasional stooping and bending. Repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs. Additional hours as required.

EQUIPMENT / TOOLS USED:

Some of the equipment and tools used are computer, telephone, fax machine, copier/printer, and a projector.

KNOWLEDGE:

Be familiar with:

  • CMS System
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

EDUCATION:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Automotive Experience
  • Experience with FIFO/inventory control
  • 3 years progressively, more responsible experience with company integrated manufacturing information systems, and customer programs (EDI, ASN & SMART experience) is preferred

OTHER:

Environmental, Health & Safety:

  • Support and comply with all TS16949 & IS014001 procedures and work instructions.
  • Support a safe and healthful work environment that is free of recognized hazards for all employees, contractors and visitors.
  • Cooperate with all local, state and federal agencies, such as OSHA or the EPA, in the event of an inspection.
  • Know and follow all applicable EH&S Policies and Procedures.
