TRC Talent Solutions is actively seeking a receiving clerk to join a well-established and growing manufacturing and distribution facility in Hiram, GA. This company is a leader in the production and delivery of package handling systems that support critical infrastructure in the Airline, Warehouse, and Parcel Delivery industries. Job Duties:
Count and reconcile randomly selected part numbers and inventory locations daily to ensure inventory accuracy.
Perform cycle counts and inventory audits in accordance with company procedures.
Investigate, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies involving quantity, location, identification, damaged materials, and transaction errors.
Determine root causes of inventory variances and recommend corrective actions to prevent future discrepancies.
Research misplaced or unaccounted-for products and assist with inventory recovery efforts.
Collaborate with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production teams to resolve inventory issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate inventory records and enter inventory transactions using SAP and other inventory management systems.
Assist with physical inventories, inventory adjustments, and inventory reporting as needed.
Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
Ensure proper stock rotation, labeling, and organization of materials within the warehouse.
Utilize Microsoft Office applications to track inventory data, generate reports, and communicate inventory findings.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse, or related inventory experience.
Experience researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform accurate inventory calculations.
Proficient with computers and comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
SAP or ERP system experience preferred.
Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
