This position is responsible for insuring inventory accuracy at THK Manufacturing (TMA) and quality control procedures for incoming product shipments. Enter data into computer database plan, manage and maintain inventory levels through a database to meet distribution demands. This position will also reconcile to the book inventory on the designated month ending dates and propose the related adjusting entries.
 
Major Responsibilities
  • Responsible for manual entry of all incoming domestic and international shipments 
  • Track, Trace, update, organize and store incoming shipments, and note any discrepancies. Unload delivery trucks as needed.
  • Verify all vendors receiving according to order and invoices (item number, quantity, quality, dollar amount etc.). Insure timely and accurate processing on a daily basis.
  • Inspect and identify any damages/shortages noted on all incoming shipments.
  • Generate required receiving document and place with products with final release.
  • Release all received goods to the appropriate individuals/departments or stock. File all packing slips in the appropriate file binders.
  • Collaborate with purchasing department to list expected deliveries.
  • Manage purchase prices from various vendors to ensure alignment with standard cost.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and maintain accurate tracking system on all receiving transactions.
  • Investigate no-stock listings and verify discrepancies making inventory and location adjustments as required.
  • Verify returned goods from customers. Ensure proper paperwork and adjustments are completed.
  • Produce month end write up. Assist in the development of policies and procedures as required. Provide management with statistical reporting on inventory benchmarks.
  • Perform material handling duties as needed utilizing the fork-lift when necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
