Receiving Coordinator Summary

The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day receiving, shipping, tracking, and administrative operations within the facility. This role works closely with lab, transportation, and operations teams to ensure accurate data entry, waste tracking, shipping documentation, and inventory management while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 0-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, operations support, or administrative coordination preferred
  • Proficient with Windows-based computer applications and data entry systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation
  • Ability to safely perform physical job duties including lifting, climbing, standing, and walking throughout the workday
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Must be able to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA regulations and company Health & Safety protocols

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent computer usage and data entry
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to climb ladders and climb on/off forklifts
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Good hand/eye coordination and depth perception required
  • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment

  • Scan and maintain documents related to storage areas and waste tracking
  • Organize and maintain trailer inventories and shared tracking files
  • Print and create outbound manifests, hazardous waste labels, and shipping paperwork for outbound loads
  • Prepare shipping documents for rejected materials as needed
  • Maintain inventory and supplies for assigned areas
  • Follow proper housekeeping standards and best management practices
  • Work closely with operations, lab, and transportation teams to ensure accurate documentation and compliance
  • Maintain compliance with all OSHA, Health & Safety, and company policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
