DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely conduct all tasks and behaviors and comply with all JBT Machining Safety Policies, including the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, as outlined in the Safety Manual.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify packing slips against purchase orders and incoming materials.
- Enter receiving information into ERP system.
- Coordinate movement of materials to appropriate locations/team members.
- Communicate all shortages, damaged goods or discrepancies to purchasing and management.
- Maintain accurate inventory and receiving records in ERP system.
- Perform monthly raw material inventory audit.
- Organize and prioritize incoming materials and job travelers to support production schedules and on-time delivery.
- Operate Saws safely and efficiently to support production schedules and on-time delivery.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes safely after being certified.
- Always maintain a clean, safe and organized work area and adhere to all workplace organization standards.
- Ensure that all required documentation is properly completed, filed, and maintained.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Willingness to learn and be trained in JBT Machining’s manufacturing processes.
- Previous inventory and warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Experience with ERP system preferred.
- Ability to multitask across a wide variety of projects.
- Prior forklift and/or crane experience preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to routinely bend and squat
- Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders, or platforms
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to repetitively grasp
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This is a safety sensitive position. This work is performed in a manufacturing setting with moderate to high levels of noise due to machinery and equipment processes. This position requires the use of personal protective equipment for safety compliance and may include overtime as deemed necessary by management.

Wage Range: $22.00 - $33.00/hour (depending on experience)
Shift: 1st (Monday-Thursday: 6am-4:30pm, Friday: 6am-11am)
