RECEIVING GENERALIST

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

The Warehouse Floater is responsible for, but not limited to the following responsibilities: Pull and fill sample orders, inventory cycle counts, restock samples, returns. Assist associates with workload as needed. Update AS400 system with data obtained through cycle counts. e planning department as well, on an as needed basis. Responsible for department housekeeping and other duties as required to maintain the necessary levels of production and fulfill all department goals

EXPERIENCE OR REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum one year of working with carpet.
• Computer literate, AS 400, Lotus 1,2,3, CMS, Lotus Notes.
• Communication skills to read, understand and discuss (in English) numerical and alphabetical lot numbers and other product/production information.
• Experience driving a forklift required.
• Experience making effective decisions in supervisors' absence.
• Must have forklift certification or pass certification test prior to accepting job.
• Work overtime as needed, including weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Frequent: Climb, depth perception, handle, hear, manual dexterity, reach, sit, stand, stoop, speak and walk. Use personal protective equipment.

Occasional: Balance, crawl, crouch, grasp, kneel and lift 45 lbs.

Required: Close vision, color, and texture.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

General warehouse environment. Background noise, dirt, oil, humidity, temperature variations. Work near moving mechanical parts.
