Summary Coordinate the flow, tracking, and documentation of materials through Receiving Inspection—from receipt to inspection to final release/disposition. Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Materials, Manufacturing, Engineering, and suppliers to ensure materials are properly identified, controlled, documented, and moved through MRB/nonconformance processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Prioritize and coordinate daily receiving inspection workload and material movement (receiving, inspection, quarantine, MRB, stock, manufacturing)
Maintain material status, traceability, and accurate logs/trackers (physical + electronic)
Verify receiving/supplier documentation and resolve discrepancies with POs/records
Control/segregate nonconforming material; track MRB actions and follow up on open dispositions
Communicate material status, shortages, delays, and escalations to cross-functional teams
Track metrics (aging, cycle time, backlog) and support process improvements/audit readiness
Requirements
High school diploma (or equivalent)
2+ years in manufacturing/quality/materials/receiving/production control (preferred)
Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail (traceability-focused)
Proficient in Excel and basic computer systems; able to manage multiple priorities
